The people
The people behind The Village
The Village is not run by one person. It is carried by the people who show up with their gifts. These are some of them.

Founder & host
Susanne
For many years I believed success meant working harder and achieving more. Living and working in New York taught me a lot - and led me straight into burnout.
Motherhood, and the loneliness of living it without a close community, showed me what was actually missing. Not another strategy. People.
A journey to Nepal - yoga, Ayurveda, music, nature and the warmth of the people - gave me my health and my calm back. The Village is my way of sharing that.
My hope is that every guest leaves with a renewed sense of connection - to themselves, to others, and to what truly matters.
Facilitators & hosts
Every month is shaped by the people who show up with their gifts. These are some of the hands and hearts behind it.

Prakash
Facilities & Nepal contact
Nepal
Prakash has become one of my dearest friends and was the seed of inspiration behind bringing The Village to life.
He has a unique ability to read people and meet them exactly where they are. With many years of experience managing large yoga centres and working in the tourism industry, he knows what it takes to create a truly smooth and enjoyable experience for travellers.
He often senses what you might need long before you realise it yourself. Highly responsive, professional and deeply connected within Nepal's tourism industry, he brings a rare combination of experience, excellent management, intuition and genuine care to everything he does - and goes above and beyond to make people leave with a smile. Prakash organises our facilities and is your main contact person in Nepal.

Mikael
Technology & music
Sweden & Germany
Mikael is Susanne's husband and the quiet engineer behind The Village. He builds the software that runs it - the website, the applications, the bookings - so that the people side can stay simple and human.
When he is not writing code he is playing music or out on a trail. Expect him at the evening jam with a guitar, and up early for the walk to the viewpoint.
Have a gift to share?
Do you cook, move, sing, build, hold space or simply love bringing people together? We are always looking for facilitators and hosts who want to shape a month with us.

The Village is built on genuine connection.
Rather than simply booking a holiday, we invite every guest to begin with a short application and a relaxed Discovery Call.
